A Holographic Dive into Porsche’s DNA
As visitors enter the museum, they are greeted by the Future Heritage Portal, a stunning installation centered around the Egger-Lohner C.2 Phaeton from 1898 – the first electric vehicle designed by Ferdinand Porsche. Using infinity mirror technology (LEDs, special mirrors, and 3D visuals), it creates a breathtaking illusion of endless depth, drawing viewers into the electric origins of the brand.
A two-and-a-half-minute immersive film, split into four chapters, guides guests through more than 120 years of Porsche history. The journey is enhanced by a custom-composed ambient soundtrack, echoing the soundscape of today’s electric Porsche models. Visible from almost every angle of the museum, this installation connects past and future through a sensory-rich experience.
